Summer Krismanits
Summer graduated from the North Carolina School of Advanced Bodywork and has completed multiple intensive trainings in Craniosacral Therapy through both the Upledger Institute and Visionary CST. She is also trained in Lymphatic and Swedish Massage.
Blending intuition with a clinical understanding of anatomy and nervous system regulation, Summer’s approach supports profound transformation in both the body and mind. Her continuing education through Primal Trust and study of Polyvagal Theory inform her trauma-aware work, allowing her to help clients move out of survival states and into balance, safety, and healing.
Summer works with clients of all ages—from newborns and children, to adults—addressing challenges such as chronic pain, trauma recovery, stress and anxiety, postnatal depletion, and nervous system dysregulation. Her sessions often facilitate deep stillness and integration, helping the body release long-held patterns and access its innate capacity to self-heal.
She first encountered Craniosacral Therapy while seeking solutions for her children and was deeply moved by the results. When she integrated this work into her own healing journey, she became passionate about helping others experience the same sense of relief and restoration.
Outside the office, Summer is an avid reader, lifelong learner, and enjoys spending time with her husband and six children. She loves all animals, but has a special place in her heart for horses and dogs.

Just as any athlete competing at high levels, I have come across my fair shares of injuries and “drawbacks”. This led to me eventually seek professional help in the prehab/injury realm of the fitness/health industry. However, it wasn’t until I went to massage school that made me gain the trust/respect I have now for bodywork. Getting bodywork allowed me to load up the soft tissue (muscle, tendons etc.) that had prior injuries with less pain in the gym and skills training sessions; this led to slowly loading up movement patterns in a more optimal manner with minimal to no pain. Eventually, allowing an increase in performance to be expressed in my respected sports and overall fitness level.
I know as an athlete one of the hardest things is stepping away from your sport specific skills training to try and give some recovery for your body because you feel you’re missing out on improvements. Every now and then giving your body that specific attention for recovery will allow you to push that much harder while at the same time reducing the chance of injury. I would love to be part of your recovery arsenal to provide as much insight and education that I can to better understand and treat your body more accordingly. I give you my thanks in advance because trusting another individual with your body can be a bit of a tricky thing; I look forward to working with you and building a professional relationship.
Sports Therapy
Our Sports Therapy sessions are designed specifically to enhance athletic performance, support recovery, and prevent injury. This focused, clothes-on therapy is performed while you’re dressed in athletic wear, making it ideal for pre- or post-workout treatment.
Rather than a full-body massage, Sports Therapy targets specific muscle groups and movement patterns relevant to your training. Techniques are tailored to address areas of restriction, improve mobility, and support optimal muscle function—helping you recover faster, move more efficiently, and perform at your best.
Whether you’re a competitive athlete or a weekend warrior, this specialized therapy can be a game-changer for your body and training goals.
