She worked for a Chiropractor for 2 years where she advanced her techniques in Trigger Point, Deep Tissue, Swedish and Neuromuscular Therapies. Since moving to NC in 2007, Melinda has worked alongside many other massage therapists, chiropractors, physical therapists, personal trainers, coaches and yoga instructors and has gained valuable knowledge that she uses to benefit her clients. In 2021 Melinda expanded her practice, brought on additional therapists and went back to school to pursue her dream of becoming a Structural Integration Therapist. Melinda takes pride in her reputation for helping clients recover from injury, improve range of motion, correct poor body mechanics and of course, relieve stress. When she expanded her practice, she wanted to create a space for people to come and experience a diverse group of elite professionals that offer a wide variety of therapy. So regardless of what you come in for, you know that you are getting the best therapy available.
Melinda has expanded her therapies to include Structural Integration, Yoga, Hot Stone Massage, Contrast Therapy, Gentle Waves Face Massage, both floor and table Thai Massage, Muscle Release Technique, Athletic Performance and Repetitive Use Therapy, Activation (massage gun), Cupping, Muscle Energy Testing, Static Manual Release, and BodyMind Coaching.
When Melinda is not at the office, working on horses, teaching yoga or at a continuing education class, she enjoys spending time with her husband, stepson and three dogs hiking, traveling and enjoying the outdoors.
